All One Planet products have a ‘no time limit’ warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. If a problem develops due to faulty materials or workmanship, return the product and we will repair or replace it at our discretion, free of charge.

However, like many good things in life, One Planet gear will not last forever, and our warranty does not cover worn-out products. If your product fails due to wear and tear, accident or negligence, we will happily repair it for a reasonable cost.

We carefully select the materials used in our products to provide a high level of all-round performance and durability. You can lengthen the life of your product by treating it with respect and by being aware of the naturally degrading forces of nature.

What does ‘no time limit’ mean with respect to your warranty? It is very difficult to measure the life of a product in months or years. At One Planet, we carefully select fabrics and components to provide weatherproofness and functionality after prolonged use. However, the life of a product will depend on how much the product is used and in what conditions, as well as the care it is given.

A good example is the replacement of tyres. If two people buy the same tyres and one does 50,000 kilometres a year while the other does 5000, their tyres will need replacing at different times. The first set will need replacing after about 18 months, while the second should last about ten years. So it is with One Planet gear!
